Global Kimistry (meaning)- the ability to travel the world with an intense feeling of connection, to every destination. 

 

 

​The  mission of Global Kimistry is to bridge the gap between wanting to travel and making travel a reality by providing the invaluable research that travelers need to feel comfortable planning their dream vacation.   

​

Global Kimistry was birthed in the heart of the CEO, Ms Kim, when she was a child,  even before it was birthed in her mind.  As a child Ms Kim, had a lot of adult like responsibilites helping to take care of her autistic sister, as a part of helping the better good of the family.  While caretaking, she spent many hours at home, watching TV and finding herself facinated by the destinations that the characters of the shows were located in, all around the world. 

 

Starting in college, 30+ years ago,  she saved her coins and started traveling abroad and fell in love with the feeling of being FREE.

She immedately noticed the lack of diversity amoungst international travelers and found it troubling and wanted that to change but didn't know how. 

 

She realized that it was similar to how the lack of financial literacy in many communities has prevented upward mobility...the lack of exposure to international travel  has created a limited mindset around where diverse travelers should and should not go.  

 

When Ms Kim had her own daughter, she decided to ensure that her "mini  me" would be exposed to travel early on and see that the world was bigger than the city/state she was born in.  Starting at 10 years of age, they started embarking on what was known as their   "Mommy Daughter vacations" ...and they are still "tripping" today. 

​

Each trip started with Ms Kim creating a Travel Plan. These Travel Plans would also get updated after the trip was over adding in all the "lessons learned" , "wish I had known" and  "what I loved the most", etc.

 

After many mommy /daughter trips, her daughter  told her that she should share these Travel Plans with others so they didn't have to start from scratch and would benefit from her experience.  Her daughter then named her  mom "Global Kimistry".  And Global Kimiistry was born.

The Global Kimistry Connection is a movement  designed to broaden the mindset and reduce the fears of travelers,  so they can see the world...the whole world.   

​

As an experienced traveler and a PMP certified Senior Project Manager, she knows what is required to create and execute a plan. Travel is no different.  All great vacations start with a plan and all successful plans start with the proper  research.  

 

Over the years, international travel has gained great momentum in diverse communities and Global Kimistry has and will continue to help the movement grow,  by providing the professional travel research,  Pro Tips,  lessons learned and so much more that only an experienced traveler who has been to the destination would have.​
